What do we mean by that?
booqr is an interactive trading platform for all people. The service consists of the support in, basically, 3 aspects. First – make an offer visible. Such an offer can be two things, namely, A, an offer in which someone makes available a performance of an event. For instance a concert or an acrobatic stunt show. Or, B, an offer in which someone makes available a search for such a performance. Call it a vacancy, a slot, or whatever. Second – the negotiation of the terms. The reason for that is: It is not uncommon that offerer and buyer negotiate details such as the time, the place, the price or something else. Third – the conclusion of a contract. Yes, booqr supports the conclusion of performance contracts which have full legal validity!
The aforementioned service is potentially useful for everyone. Because everyone either once in a while or frequently is involved into such booking processes. Example: It’s your daughter’s 6th birthday; you want to hire a magician to perform a show at the party. Example: You operate a bar and you want to hire a pianist every Saturday night. Example: You are professional musician and you want to play for an audience and for income regularly at different venues.

What do we mean by that?
As said, the signing up to booqr is free of charge. It is free of charge now, and will be in the future. There is no intention to change that, ever. No hidden charges either.
So, you may ask, how does booqr cover their own cost and earn income?
We intend to earn income through fees and commissions in the future. Fees and income then arise out of transactional activity: When booqr supported in a conclusion of a performance contract, then booqr deserves a small nominal fee and a small cut in the contract value. In the current campaign phase, we do not charge the transactions at all. In other words, booqr launches transactional services and operations on a totally-free basis. Fees and income do also arise out of third party advertisement services. We try our best to keep the irritation which arises out of advertisement on a tolerable level - in the interest of our patient clientele.
We promise that charges imposed in the future ARE going to be budget conscious.
Obviously, as such, booqr is an absolutely budget conscious affair for our dear clients. Free of charge during campaign periods, low charges on transactional activity only outside the campaign periods.
When compared to traditional methods of booking, there is potential of saving money. In the processes of traditional methods of booking, the charges and all sorts of deductions can be substantial. Thinking about multi-level booking processes which involve numerous middle people. For instance, musician works hard in his home studio in the suburb; wife takes care of paper work, corresponds with agent; agent represents interests in office on 50th floor in skyscraper in downtown, corresponds with booker in another city and country; booker there corresponds with local festival booking agency; local festival booking agency corresponds with festival manager/curator. We are aware that censorship and other restrictions which are outside of our control impose limits, but we are confident that the goal of general availability is largely achieved through accessibility in a lot of regions and a continuously increasing number of languages.

From any place in the world to any place in the world. booqr’s philosophy implies the provision of service through the language relevant to the market. We take this challenge very seriously. We begin our operations with an assortment of a few languages first and let follow other ones soon later. We apologize for the inconvenience if the language of your preference is not yet within the assortment. The language element has two aspects. First, having a powerful but complicated system available in native language is an obvious advantage. Second, the arrangement of a performance with a third party can involve a foreign language. Here, the advantage arises out of the provision of the system to person A in language a, to person B in language b, the negotiation in both relevant languages a and b, and the issuance of of one of the same performance contract, in two versions, a and b language. Please note first that this is an optional service which we have made a lot of preparation for but which at the time when we open the services is not available yet.
The security goes like this:You are for instance the performer of an event. For instance, you are a musician and the performance is a concert. At the time when the contract with the promoter is concluded, you both decided to opt for the additionally available security. For that, it is agreed in advance that the normal commission is augmented by a small increase. It is generally the promoter who pays the commission and the premium for the additional security. So you performed your concert, and as compensation you expect the promoter to pay out the amount of money which was agreed in the contract. The promoter fails to pay. For whatever reason. Justified or unjustified. As statistics show, in a number of events it happens that contracting parties run into conflicts after performances. You want your money. And you get your money. From booqr. For this, the arrangement had previously been made. We sort things out.When the promoter’s reluctance is unjustified, you keep your compensation. When it turns out that from neutral point of view it is justified, then you will understand that the compensation will need to be reimbursed.
Optionally, booqr secures the deals. When the debtor fails with payment, booqr pays..

What do we mean by that?
The creators of the booqr system have made every effort to conceive and provide processes which add value. The creators of the booqr system have made observations that both offline and online processes elsewhere which attempt to support the conclusion of performance contracts on occasions lack stringency. What do we mean by stringency? Stringency in our opinion prevails: when the course of a dialogue and activities with legal and mercantile consequences follow the principle of logic; when negotiating and contracting parties are submitted to rules; when the rules are clear and known to the parties; when an action which follows a previous action is within a the range of the expectable. Too abstract? It is easier to explain by describing situations in which stringency is lacking. For instance, you are a musician, you want to perform on a stage against compensation, you publish an offer on an online marketplace, hoping that this will find the attention of a buyer. You receive numerous enquiries such as “Will you play a cover of “Stairway To Heaven””, “Can’t you perform for 50% of the asking price?” and “There is no smoking and no alcohol in our premises”. You ok everything. In other words, you accept every request made and spend time on answering every question. You might meanwhile have turned down others. And still, eventually, after all the hassle you don’t get the order. Why? Most of the time, nobody even knows. What a waste. Of time, energy, hopes. Obviously, there is no stringency there. No logical activity. Such defective courses of negotiations occur also frequently in the conventional one-on-one correspondences between bands and promoters. Anyway, processes on booqr are conceived in a stringent fashion. A counter offer submitted by a promoter is binding him. There is no nonsensical enquiring, there is no tyre kicking. When they send you their counter offer, including a request to perform a Led Zeppelin song, for 50% less of what your asking price was, without smoke and drink, he is bound. The fact that you conceded to submit yourself to their conditions may please you or not please you, but at least there is a certainty of what is and what will be. As a result, you can make up your mind to either accept at the inferior terms or decline, and you are not further wasting your time with any nonsense.
It is also in a way stringent that booqr is not charging you any fees for signing up or for being a member. There are only charges against transactional activity.
